There are always answers

Chip Martin from Looking For Alaska by John Green.

This took about 2 hours in mechanical pencil, then about 10 minutes to Photoshop (shadows/highlights, darker, contrast). I used Grant Gustin and Jack/Finn Harries' lovely faces as partial reference. I know that a lot of people will probably think that this doesn't look much like the Colonel but this is just how I imagined him I suppose!

I'm really enjoying drawing in a more realistic style lately, and since these drawings only take a couple of hours I am taking requests for drawings of book characters so if you have any suggestions please comment!

Also, thanks for all your lovely feedback on my picture of Alaska Young 'I smoke to die', it's really good to know that people are enjoying my work
